What a Bum.

First let me say thank you to everyone for the comments.

Looks pretty good Greg.

But isn't that scoop about 3/4 of an inch to the left???? :poke:

You hush that stuff. :D
I measured that thing from 4 different angles 3 times before it got marked and cut in.
That would have SOOOO sucked to get it crooked.

I have to admit, for a beeeeak,it is sweeeet!
EDIT
Now it occurred to me that the above might sound like I'm an azz. And I'm not sure if I can undo that. Sorry 'bout that. It was not my intention; I'm just not into beaks; even tho I've had several.
Your effort really is sweet! And I doubt any other scoop could touch it.
That is partly, mostly, why I've never liked beaks; cuz of the perceived lack of aesthetics when trying to fit a scoop.I've had two 69 Barracudas, one of which I was eager to scoop. After searching for weeks, I could not find anything I liked.
Yours I like. And the execution is excellent.

BTW; where'd you find that O/D switch mini-console? Or is that a custom install on the back of your floor-shift console? Whatever it is, I like that too!

AJ, the OD and lockup switching is all hand done and stenciled lettering and serves two purposes.
Right now I need to take a break and get rested up from the daylight to dark push.
Especially going out early and getting started, and then having people call for computer appointments then having to run in clean up and change clothes then go do the job and come back change again and go back to it.

Anyway, right now those switches are manually turning OD and lockup on and off, but later they will be for interrupting the ground circuit to override full automatic of those two, and work like the OD On/Off in the trucks the transmission came out of.
I didn't want a beak car in the first place but it was the only one I could fins at the time.
After a couple of years it kind of grew on me, and a lot of people say the front end adds a bit more of an expensive look to the car.
I don't know about that, but I do know it doesn't bother me at all.

No worries on the comments AJ, as I generally know where you are coming from when you say things, and I'm not that fragile anyway. :D

I lit the tires on it today for about a block and Stephanie accused me of giving her heartburn by doing it.
Now that's fragile. :D

Huh, my wife get's white knuckles, lmao.
Stephanie starts stomping an imaginary brake pedal and grabbing for hand holds that aren't there and never have been.
Personally I think it's 99 percent drama and it just annoys me.

I LOVE the scoop, it fits the lines really well in the car. Do you have any pictures of your process of the fiberglass hood scoop into the hood? I was considering doing a non-factory scoop on my hood and yours came out great. Sounds like you're in the way to a super fun car, keep it going!

WOW...the scoop looks awesome.

VERY nicely done & I want an OD trans in my car now too :D

It looks good. Fits the lines of the car actually. Didnt those mustang scoops have turn signal indicators on the back end facing the driver? It would be cool to add those in.

I like the way everything fits together. Looks good. Any lessons on how you did the scoop to hood. I will be adding a scoop to mine and would like to have it flow into hood likes yours.
