I would assume they were available at old service stations.

I've seen a number of these around but I never thought about it till now.

Reminds me a little of the old Chrysler certicard. I don't know where or if they are available.
 

it's a holder for a service reminder "spot check" is the name brand.

That is cool, I've never had or seen the little card before. Most of the ones I've had were already yellowed and cracked like the one I pictured. I recently bought a 72 dart 4 door and that was there and the car has been off the road since 1988 so I figured it is old.

some of the cards have a tab like that, some are just square and some are double sided. depends on the maker/style. they're almost always white/blue but i've seen a few that were white with red/orange.

rare that one is still hanging in there, the double sided tape used to stick 'em usually gives up the ghost. or bored drivers fiddling around pry them off.
