What are these fittings?

They are each side of a boss infront of the intake - wondering what they are for?

Mine is still in pieces itself. Just drooling over everyone else's. Some times inspiration, mostly jealous lol

Not fitting at all. One is the water temp sensor and the other I believe is a knock sensor. I'll have to check my 5.7 to be 100%.
