What are these?

I am almost finished my 1965 Valiant convertable after 5 years of working on it. I now have these parts that I think the painter removed from it. does anyone know where they belong? They are about 6 inches long.

I believe those screw into the quarter panels on top of the ends/corners of the rear bumper.

Fast 340 is correct, they protect the body panels from bumper compression.

Thanks, Of course I just installed the bumpers on Friday. I assume I will have to remove them to put these on. Not to difficult as the bolts are all new.

This one I took yesterday showing the Bumpers. I had to paint some interior parts and decided not to spend almost $2,000.00 toget them chromed and just painted them.

looks really good, I like to color combo too! Though I would pull that top in the sail panels area a bit more to get the wrinkles out (diagonal to the wrinkles towards the rear window.) wait till you have to pull a square corner dart if you want an experience in frustration.

The top arrived with some of those wrinkles in those panels. I decided to wait until we start getting some warm sunny days and drive it around with the top up. I think it will stretch a bit then and I will go over it again.
