Went to my first weekly Saturday cruise with the avatar car in Homosassa, FL today. Moved to this area just over a week ago from the Detroit area and have already met a full contingent of car folks. Very friendly and welcoming people who have a LOT of cars and enjoy bringing them out. I'm sure not missing the long months of cold and dreadful weather ahead "back home" in Detroit. So very thankful to be here in our new place and looking forward to getting used to being able to use the cars year round! And calling this home now!

I dropped a rebuilt 318 in my Duster project. I have family obligations this afternoon, but hope to get it running later tomorrow.

Glad you’re enjoying your new home!

I’m in Northwest Georgia and love the weather here. Originally from Pennsylvania, I do not miss the long winters and snow. It does cool down here in January and February but not freeze year butt off cold. It also gets hot here but not melt your butt off hot.

In fact, I think I’ll take the Barracuda for a drive, it’s probably 70 degrees outside!!

Interior is out of the car and it's ready to be dropped off at the chassis shop this week for the cage work.

I've been playing around swapping intakes and carburetors on the Demon. I need to get a head gasket set because I think I;m going to put another set of aluminum heads on the car. I just dread the idea of having it done for weeks at a time. Oh, and I just figured out that I'm going to have to replumb my fuel lines because a friend who is a tech guy told me the lines running under my frame connectors will not pass any longer.

Unearthed the front fenders that were originally on the Scamp prior to doing the restoration back in 2007.

Living in North Dakota my Scamp has been on stands since October. :BangHead:
Doing a new chin spoiler to match my 73 beak frontend just for something to do through winter.

Finally got around to getting the stupid muffler clamps off Gladys' exhaust today and welded everything up solid. Been meaning to do that ever since I swapped the 400 in about this time last year.
