The Cult. Good choice. Man, I remember when they used to play them on a regular. Out here, we had KAZY on 106.7 and right next door, we had KBPI on 105.9... Most people forgot about KAZY, but I still think the most famous metal station around was our AM selection~ Z Rock. They would play anything on that station from new Metallica (...And Justice For All at the time) to D.R.I., Suicidal Tendencies, S.O.D., Anthrax, you name it. They'd put anything on request for you. I always called in to hear tunes, because I didn't have much money back then for tapes.

I'm not terribly into a lot of the 80's pop rock, but some of it can't be denied, regardless of popularity.

I'll admit to guilty pleasures. I like some Dokken tunes, a few White Lion, there are a reasonable amount of great songs that the genre grew, so I can't knock it.

It's sort of like Glenn Danzig. Better with the Misfits and Samhain, but I will admit that his later, self produced stuff is catchy. I'm a sucker for a hook. I think that's why I love Kid Cudi so much.

IMO, it doesn't matter where the music comes from, or what era, if it's worth a spin, I'll pick it up.

The Cars + Phoebe Cates in slo-mo... Hahahaha... That's too much. Ultra cheesy n' awesome. It's like straight out of someone's crush imagination. You always find my funny bone, Keith. People would tell Amy that she looked a bit like her. I think I can sort of see it, now.

"Do the crusher you turkey-necks" LMAO...........:glasses7:

Nice selection. The Crusher is a killer tune. I remember when The Cramps covered that one.

Rufus Thomas tune, done by one of my favorites~

I listen to the Scott Shannon True oldies on the internet radio.

Great track,Andy!!!!! This band, never did anything bad!

I dunno- ever heard their version of "Born to be Wild"?

IMO exactly 50% of the "Electric" album is A++ material, and the other 50% is garbage...and I'm a HUGE Cult fan.

The voices in my head. After that pretty much anything, just go with the flow.If it's good,it's good, no matter who the person or band is or what style of music it is.Have a soft spot for Led Zep,Beatles,Black Sabbath,etc...
