Zappa does a whole lotta druuuugs.

nope, frank never did any drugs, or drink.........he just made fun of people who did.

with that kind of personality i don't think you need to do drugs.......the man had a slanted way of looking at things.......and one hell of a musician/writer/arranger/producer. he died in 1993.

Frank Zappa - Peaches en Regalia - original 1969 mix - YouTube

When you look at his life, he was an outstanding American and a workaholic. He did not do drugs, thought they were stupid. He went before congress to speak out against censorship. In the '60's he was targeted by our government, his studio raided, work stolen and never returned, then he was audited by the IRS every year for years...he never rested even when he was ill he kept on working.

Here's the only live performance I could find of this song, audio is not the best but ok, but here you get the musicianship of the late Dan Fogelberg and band. The tempo here is just right, when you listen to the version on the album now it sounds rushed.

yep, frank might have been a lot of things, but one thing that he wasn't was a druggy.............he also was known for starting alot of musical careers by hiring people to play in his band that no one had herd of yet. terry bosio, steve vai, and ansley dunbar just to name a few.........

Mr Buddy Guy --- ( loose paraphrase)" its not about the amounts of notes you play, its about playing the right note at the right time.
