What block is this?

Please educate me on this block. Was told its a 383.
Block was prepped for assembly but now has surface rust again. Think it can be honed just to clean it up or start over?
Can it be micced to check how much it was bored so we know what pistons to order? sorry for the dumb questions I am not an engine guy.

2468130 is a 383 block. If you look on the pad by the distributor it should say 38 for 383. Probably also has a C or D for the year. Looks like a casting date of Feb 1967 so it probably went into a 1967 vehicle but it could've ended up in a '68 vehicle. Might be a VIN stamp on the bellhousing lip but wouldn't be surprised if it isn't there. 383 blocks aren't worth a bunch so if that one isn't any good you should be able to find another one.
