As you may know the a500 trans is similar to the 904 and the a518 is similar to the 727.
I want to run this trans behind a 360 magnum. It is around 550 to 600hp which will give me around 430 at the wheels.
I currently run a basic a518 behind the exact same engine and it handles the power fine but I would rather run the a500 due to easier mods to fit. I don't know much about the a500
Does anyone know if this trans will handle that power level or will it need a lot of money spent on it before it will do?
