Going to salvage yard what mopars had 7290's factory. need shaft to shorten for valiant
what cars had factory 7290 U joint driveshafts ?

Look for B or C bodies
All big block ones had them from I think 66 up, also 1/2 ton trucks.

Just look at them all, they put mostly 7290 in bb cars and trucks, but even that sometimes isn't right.
See the local driveline shop and you won't have to worry the shaft you just got at the JY is useless. I see it every day.

I couldn't agree more. I can get a brand new shaft, ends, joints, yoke, and balanced for around 200-250 from the drive line shop.
