Ok for past few days I have been transfering the 318/904 from my 74 Valiant parts car to my 72 Duster. Today I swapped the whole dash wiring and all. I didn't remove any wiring from the motor just unplugged from the bulkhead connector on the firewall. I reinstalled the engine ground the ground under the column and a few little others I wasn't sure about. When I tried to get it to turn over nothin. Did I forget anything. The Valiant had that crappy gotta sit down thing to start where you had to flop down real hard to get it do anything but it was unhooked. Any help would be great.

maybe 72 and 74 have different pin outs for the wiring harness?

If nothing work's it's down to the ammeter or a fuseable link or a bad ground from battery to engine or engine to body.break out the test light and see where you do have power to and where it should have power but doesn't

You can fry a lot of dash components without the cluster installed as the ground for the cluster is provided through the dash frame. If you need to try trouble shooting without the cluster installed be sure and run a wire from the cluster to ground.
