What do I have?

Hey guys:

I have a 64 Valiant factory V8 with a push button automatic transmission. I'm trying to figure out it it is a 727 or a 904. How can I tell?

Very easy. One way is the pan. 904 is rectangular with a corner cut out. 727 has an additional bulge on pass. side. You can see this by lying down (if in the car) and looking at the pass side pan rail

However, a 64 would NOT be a 727
