What do these mean

I was asking a guy about a supposedly 727 and he sent me a pic of numbers on the pan rail. What do they mean, if anything. I’ve asked him to send a pic of the pan, but nothing yet

Should be 2 sets of numbers on the pan rail, Don.

One identifies the year and application.

The second I believe to be the production number.

I think this is the set to identify, just a very poor shot of the last few digits.

Can't tell if that's an 8 or if that's a 1 at the end perhaps a grease stain

2538338 is a 66 LA 904

2538333 is a 66 LA 727
