What do you do for R&R?

Yeah thanks everyone. Crazy times. Two of those guys I have know for over 30 years. We spend a 4-5 days fishing for trout and drinking beer. I swear over the last few years the group has grown to 20+. FWIW we camp at Lake Crowley right off HWY 395. The Sierra Mountain Range is really great. Trout fishing is my low tech time of the year.
As for the buggy it pretty fun. Amazing how fast 1100 lbs can be with 1600cc of VW. My next project is two upgrade the motor to a 2.2 WRX.

Leanna, Apparently I spaced out a little.ok a lot.. I just realized, 731 area code is where I was at.... union city, UTM actually....I'll have to swing by the shop next time I'm up there. :)

All of the pics of the great outdoors are great, reminds me of vacations in the mountains of NC as a kid :cheers:

I AM a dumbass..... I just looked up the address......I LITERALLY drove right by the front of your shop.......on my way to Jackson.... DOH

#-o:protest::wack::boxing:

Right there a half block west of 45E between Milan and Martin. Awwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!! Maybe next time. At least now ya know where it is heh heh

We go up to the cabin, I've been building it for 4 years, a local company did the log shell and another guy framed the roof and built the foundation. I wired it, plumbed it, etc., still lots to do. It's not as big as it looks but big enough to retire to which is the plan. Here's a nice winter shot

Nice river across the street to swim in, not much in the way of fish in there anymore unfortunately

Rob,

That is a really nice looking spot! A very nice place to retire.

Mostly fiddling with my A-Body... but also electric guitar, snowmobiling, enjoying a fine belgian/german brew and maybe rolling one up every once in a while :shock:

Being an outdoorsman I'm sure you'd really like it there Jack, we have 5 acres of forest with the cabin tucked way into it. Nice quiet area but only 15 - 20 minutes from a couple small towns with lots of car clubs. 70DartMike from this forum lives in one of those towns. I'll be 50 soon and another year closer to packing it in :cheers:
