doesn't work. we have over 20 cats, still get mice. rat poison and moth balls is what we put in the tractors in the winter.Cat.........
Mothballs smell horrible. Then you have to smell them forever. Before I retired from farming I used mothballs in my combines. Not perfect, but I would say up to 95 % effective. Don't be stingy, use 2-3 boxes or more. Cut top open, and fold it back. Space boxes evenly around vehicle interior including trunk. Leaving it in the boxes makes it much easier to take out after winter and seems to be just as effective as scattering. Only problem is the smell of moth balls, but I much preferred that to the smell of mouse not to mention their destruction. If sealed up after taken out of car I have had the boxes last several years as they are 100% ingredient.

After having two combines overrun and chewed to H---- by mice one winter. I decided moth balls had a sweet clean pleasant smell in comparison. Enjoy your mice Cody.

The mice around here use the dryer sheets for a nice nesting place. Moth balls and peppermint oil here. One guy out here with a Shelby Mustang puts jack stands in oil drain pans under the car then takes the wheels off. fills the drain pans with used oil. Mice climb in and the oil takes them out.Moth balls around the car and dryer sheets in the car
