Well, got the hood opened, the latch was busted. I didn't think it would have it but it does, a 400.

Na, kinda defeats the purpose. i am trying to build this for my wife. dont need a big block

Well, you could build a very mild 400. Don't underestimate that engine. It has a bigger bore than a 440 and a shorter stroke. Just build it as a 400. You can do some pretty cool stuff with a stock 400. Be a great sleeper.
