Friend has a 65 Scout 2wd with pick-up cap, slant 4 that runs, but clutch and brake pedal goes to floor. Needs both floor panels, front and back, doors have the sliding windows and drivers door hinges are sprung. He is looking to unload it, and looking for a ballpark on the price. Thanks

with title, I could see it fetching $2000.00 to the right buyer

but it sounds like he's not looking for the right buyer

Restored worth a ton to the right guy.. but to get it there, is like all these animals, SOoooo many $$$$$$! LOL As is,dunno, probably way more than I would ever consider. Still cool.

make sure he reads the small print before posting it on eBay
a $2000 sale might only net a $1500 check

but I think this is a good idea, let the market determine price, and by going eBay, you can reach a larger audience

I would say if the bottom is as solid as the top, I would say it will bring around 4K. If it was 4x4, probably around 6K. Like it is. Finding one that's not a total basket case rust bucket is hard to do because they all rusted badly and that one looks solid.

Frame is good. Just sat outside, floors are shot. Interesting slant 4, half of a v8. Has a 8 cyl dist cap. Every other hole in cap is filled

60's Bronco's prices are through roof right now, I bet that Scout would fetch a pretty penny.

Cool little truck!
Interesting - 2WD but has a winch behind the grill.

Just read an article about the scouts being a good investment type of vehicle. Man this one is so cool. I like that it is a 2wd. Nice hot rod material.

I used to have a job at a campground with a couple of those back in the day.definitely not highway gears lol

That's exactly right. It's a 152, which is half of an IH 304.

I remember seeing one (2wd) several yrs ago. 340, 4 spd, sure grip, PS, PB and AC. It looked sharp and was fast.

If it was within an hour of my house I would pay 5k for it.

My first wife had a Scout like that when she moved to Texas. The old 6 cylinder gave up the ghost because she wasn't much on maintenance. I put an early 70's 318 & 904 in it & made a beach cruiser out of it. I was really fun after dark with both of them topless. LOL
