Hey guys, nice to be back as a couple of you havent seen me around in a long time. I have a question about a transmission I came across at my parents house. My mother explained to me that it was a 4 speed that originaly came out of my fathers D-200 p/u. The only numbers I found on it was C-97247-Q. I counted up the input splines and that came out to 23. I then got curious and proceed to tear it apart. Unless I am blind as a bat I can not see a 3rd gear on either the main or counter shafts. The ratio of the gears I found was a 3.26:1 first gear, 1.6055:1 second gear and I suppose a 1:1 for thrid. My question, is this adding up correctly or is something not right here?

Second question, what companies still produce Mopar 4 speed parts?

Sounds to me like it's a O.D. unit where 4th gear is the 1:1 and the 3rd gear is the O.D.

Passon performance has 4spd stuff, Brewers, theres more out there I'm sure.

I have one of thses trans that I am looking to sell
