That’s an 833 OD. The giveaway is the aluminum case. The two shifter mounting pads mean it’s out of a truck, probably a D50. Engine would have been a /6 or 318. You can decode those numbers at brewers but the cast iron tail shaft probably means it’s late seventies, the overdrive 833’s ran from ‘75 to ‘87. That particular one would be a bit of a pain for an A body because of the long tail shaft and the shift mount locations are in the wrong spots.

Yes out of a truck, also take note that the "E body" shifter mount pad is no longer even drilled/threaded anymore ,cause it's just a truck use only housing by these years.

Bear in mind that even though not OEM, you can use that in a B or E body. Both B/E had dual drilled pads starting in 70
