What are the pulleys from? The '64-6 273 alternator bracket you showed earlier is a good solid piece. If the belt lines up when you use that, that's what I would use.

65 Barracuda 273 with A/C. No power steering
The bracket was in a box the pulleys were on the engine.
The belt lineup either way.
But without the bracket the alternator is lower and tighter to the block and also less weight with the smaller bracket unless it's a heat issue being close to the block

Your pulleys in post# 25 look like non-A/C but with P/S. Doesn't really matter except for the look of an extra groove on the crank pulley. If the 273 bracket will fit and work, I'd use that. Heat isn't going to bother the alternator and it should be easier to get a stock fan belt.
