My Dart front suspension build thread is here. In a nutshell, I have a 1972 Dart, 318, 904 auto. I have done the following to the front suspension:

  • Firm Feel UCAs
  • 1" Firm Feel T-Bars
  • Reinforced LowLCAs
  • New LCA Bushings
  • New Ball Joints
  • 11/16" Tie Rod Ends and Solid Adjusters
  • Adjustable Strut Rods
  • Bilstein Shocks (Front and for rear)
I will be running 17x8 Bullitt Rims and 245/45/17's all the way around.

My question is for the back. I have an 8 3/4 B-Body rear with perches moved in to 42" to use with Dr. Diffs offest kit. His offset kit allows an extra hole in the eye to lower 1" or so I think.

Question: What leaf springs do I want? I was thinking 6-leaf ESPO springs at stock height? I want it to be stiff and to match the front, but not ride like a sled too.... What will be a good match for my front suspension/shocks/tires etc.

Thanks in advance.....

check with Firm Feel but i think the Mopar 4 leaf oval track springs would
match the components you have.My current project is similar to yours and
that has been recommended to me,but i have no first hand experience.

espo has a heavy duty spring that might work well for you and there prices are decent.
