What rim/tire to put in the trunk

I have a 1973 Dart Sport with the fold down door into the trunk. I need to get a rim and tire for the spare to put in the trunk but want to make sure I get the right size so the trunk carpet will fit flat over the tire.

Does anyone know the size of rim and tire I should get?

Five inch wide rim, 195 78R-14 or 15.
205 may not allow everything to sit flat.
Small, yeah, but it's the spare.

See if a tire store will let you trial fit some tires, would be good to matcj your rear tire diameter if possible, in case you ever need to travel on it.

You have a limited slip (SureGrip) rear axle? You want a spare the same OD exactly, as the rear tires.
