I have asked this question before and was set on 9.5" 4k stall and 4:10 gears and dyno tune. But I had lost my job and had to use some of my savings to take care of bills, anyways I have a new job now. Theoretically as long as I do not get fired or they do not try and cut my hours I make 2.50 an hr more than what i was making and now have mon-fri 10-6 weekends off.
this is all theoretical but I made a budget and if I do things right I will have 8k in savings by Dec 08 and thats getting rid of all my debt but the car loan which i would owe probably 4k or less on at that time.
Hears the thing I want to know what can I have done to my car for 8k, I have been looking at kit from thesuperchargerstore.com, or going with indy 440-ez 1 heads or better, a custom ground scott brown solid roller cam, and the ptc 4k stall and 4:10 gears
I have also been contimplating a 500 stroker backed up with indy heads and etc...
what I want is an 11 second street car the car will be driven on street mostly but if I take it to the track 1-3 times a year I want to be able to run 11's . I have always wanted a low 11 second 10 second car which is all and well but its not for driving around on the street and to car shows 45 miles away
