Slap a 3.09 low gear in that four speed and keep the 3.23 rear gears. Overall low gear ratio with that setup would be 9.98.

With a 2.66 low gear and 3.73 rear gears, you overall low gear ratio would be 9.92.

Guess which rear gears would be better on the interstate.

i had a 410 hp 425 tq 340 and with bfsmokerich tires all i did was spin through 1st and 2nd . you need traction , what suspension mods you do ? you ave frame connectors ? everything adds up
god luck with the car it's a package just can't throw in 500hp and expect great 1/4 mile times you might not see black marks on the road with bfg but i'm sure you smell and see the tire smoke

I didn’t build it, I would hope it was but builder is out of business so who knows. I’ll get a compression check.
