Bought a 360 and it has a Carter competition series carb . Think it says 3105 on front what size is that. I'm thinking 600. Also are they hard to rebuild I have done a Holley carb before

For the later model AFB 9000 series-the numbers after the 9 is the cfm ex. 9750 750 cfm
For Chrysler applications add a 1 to the last number ex. 9626 625 cfm

9400 Aftermarket 400 CFM AFB

9410 Aftermarket 400 CFM AFB

9502 Aftermarket 500 CFMAFB choke less carb, with GM linkage

9511 Aftermarket 500 CFM AFB Chrysler linkage, for square-bore manifolds

9605 Aftermarket 600 CFM AFB manual choke carb, with GM linkage

9625 Aftermarket 625 CFM AFB

9626 Aftermarket 625 CFM AFB

9627 Aftermarket 625 CFM AFB

9635 Aftermarket 625 CFM AFB

9636 Aftermarket 625 CFM AFB

9637 Aftermarket 625 CFM AFB electric choke carb, with Ford linkage

9800 Aftermarket 800 CFM T-Q electric choke, GM linkage, 'spread bore' manifolds.

9801 Aftermarket 800 CFM T-Q electric choke, Chrysler linkage, 'spread bore' manifol

Very easy to rebuild. Half the parts of a Holley.
At the moment, I do not have my book on the early numbers. I have not seen (or heard of) a Carter Comp. carb that starts with a 3.

Is it an OE Carter?
Double check the numbers.

I think there is a set of numbers just before that 3105 and I belive it starts with a 9.

The 9x3x series are EGR compatible, just another port. Carter has about 10 pieces minus screws and jets. About a 10 minute rebuild if the parts are already clean.
