What type of starter to use?

Hey guys,

I am looking for a starter for my brother's 1971 Demon. The engine is a 1995 Magnum 360 and the trans is a 727 out of a 1970 Duster 340. What type of starter should I be looking for? I think I have heard that some material may have to be removed from the block to clear for installation?

You want to purchase a mini starter. I bought mine off of e bay.

Mini-starter, found at the junkyard, they never die, so just go inexpensive.

Mini-starter is best, even for a 60's engine. That means the factory starter for a Magnum V-8 engine.

A factory 1995 dakota v6 or 8 if u get one from one of the chain stores..
