So im getting alot of clicking from my vavle train after installing my cam a year ago. Do you think it is because i didnt uprage the valve springs? could this cause a loss in performance? here are the specs on the cam. I am looking to figure out what springs i need and if i can just change the springs or if i need to do more. Thanks.

You need to run the right spring for the cam. This is not optional.

You may have some rocker to spring retainer interference too. That is something you can check, easy.

If they are Edelbrock lifters make sure the plunger retaining clips are still in place. And as others say... the springs must match the cam.
