I was checking out my friends 69 GTS that he restoring and I noticed these details on the passenger fender that are not found on the drivers fender. See red arrows in pic.

The tab is for grill mounting. And the hole to the left is for a header panel J-Nut

Hmmm... never paid attention to that.
Why ? Does it have the correct marker light provisions ? If it does maybe it is a universal replacement fender and body shop cut the propper holes back in the day.
I cant say I am an expert on all Abody fender differences but I have had several 73s and am doing a 69 right now so I recognize certian things.

Interesting this orange 68 Dart GTS fender has the same hump over the headlight like your right fender has.

Here are left and right fenders off a 1967 Dart 2 door Post car. If this helps . . .

Wonder if your 69 Dart GTS took a hit on the drivers side so they put a 67 Dart fender on that side, leaving the original 69 GTS fender on the right side ?

it's probably a 73 fender and the side marker light was changed.they fit like a glove and line up with the bumper like it's made from the same mold.

Here are my 69 GTS Fenders. Pretty sure they are original as I have a stripe delete car and they are both drilled for emblems and I have emblems in them.

That is an NOS factory replacement fender from Chrysler, they are completely different than originals, DAMHIK! What does the antenna hole look like?

So it's a NOS replacement fender for a 69 Dart?

The car was raced back in the mid 70's then buried in a garage for 30 years.
It is now being restored but retaining its 70's race car parts.

I'm supposed to stop over my friend's house tomorrow to help work on the car. I will take a few pictures of the driver's side fender and check out the antenna hole.
Here are a couple more pics when I first unburied the car and pushed it out of the garage back in 2014 after 30+ years of being hid away.

Did you patch the inner fenders? My car was cut when I bought it and ended up replacing the whole inner fender on both sides. That was funzies.

Here are pics of the NOS factory replacement fenders on my 69. If you zoom up you can see they are exactly like yours.

OK cool that is what we have been looking for to identify his fender. That eyelet tab hanging down off the front lip is what had me puzzled with comparing to the mopar original fenders.

NOS Fenders, thank you !

Thats what I was thinking. They made the replacement fenders with provisions to fit multiple years. Probably no side marker hole.... you just cut one to fit whatever year the car was you were working on.

Actually the factory replacement fenders do come with the side marker holes in them for each year vehicle. Mine were definitely intended for use on a 69, if you wanted to use them for other years you had to fill-in the marker hole. The 73-76 fender was pretty much identical to the 69 except for the marker hole.

Just got back from my friend's garage. Here are some pics that I took today.
The antenna hole looks a little rough, but there is a halo of new paint around the opening maybe giving it that rough look?

Yep, exactly like mine. It came with no hole and I had to make one, I did a better job than yours, but it really doesn't matter as the antenna will cover the hole completely. I drilled the two holes then used a metal punch to make mine.
