What's the correct color for brake drums? Or, share yours

I'm going to be painting my drums this winter (the rust doesn't match my cragars). They'll probably just get some iteration of black but I wonder if there is actually a correct color for them? Alternatively, go ahead and share your painted brake drums.

Natural I believe, mine are semi-black

Rust, or red if they were used with Magnum 500.

As for red apparently being the factory color, I don't think it would match well with my car so I'll probably go black.

(I'll put the center caps on when I do the drums, too)

I believe Mopar of your vintage would have been unpainted. Black or even body color might look nice.

Really? I thought it was only on Magnums, and on the outside rim, not around the lug area.

The rear drums on my 73 are a faded dull red.
