just hooked up a msd in my 72 demon 340 and i seems like it don't wake up till 3000rpm,, some guys told me that it dont multi spark till 3000 rpm is this true if so i am ripping it back out????

from msd 6 instructions...

The MSD 6 Series produces full power multiple sparks for each firing of a plug. The number of multiple sparks that occur decreases as rpm increases, however the spark series always lasts for 20° of crankshaft rotation. Above 3,000 rpm there is simply not enough "time" to fire the spark plug more than once, so there is only one powerful spark.

its the 6al with the chip limiter and a 5600 chip in it... its no the dial one

If you know where the initial timing was set prior to installing the MSD, see where it is now. If it moved a bunch and you haven't messed with the distributor, swap the wires from the pickup if an electronic unit.
