Also. I've identified all these wires except the on I have marked in red.
2 alt wires
1 coil wire
1 temp gauge
1 oil pressure.

WHAT year make and model are we working on here?



The unknown black? large gauge? is probably the original alternator output wire, should go up to the bulkhead connector

the frayed wire appears to be whats left of the alternator hot.

It should have an eyelet on it to fasten on the alternator stud.

My bad, i stand corrected, the switch body is different, plugs the same. As early as 69. thanks.
