I agree and old photos can fade, and just plain show wrong colors under artificial light. I believe they painted the motors after the exhaust manifolds were installed. The overspray burned off after the engines were fired up.The exhaust manifold is orange ??? Its likely someone used a computer graphic program on it . I have an 318 out a 67 rag Monaco but I was never sure if it was original. It is red .
