Wheel lug stud identification and or replacement

-
So here’s what I’ve got for lug nuts… there was box of scraps in the car when I got it and these were some of the mix match odds and ends… you can see the two with the broke off studs inside as well… and what I believe to be a “security” or anti-theft nut…

So you have a total of 7 nuts if you count the lock nuts are they all RH or LH or a combo. Finding mag wheel lug nuts that are LH will be the biggest challenge

It would seem that the lug nut gods are smiling on me… after talking to my dad he refreshed my memory about a long lost zip lock bag from when he last had the car… I found it and inside were some MORE lug nuts!

So now a total of:

6x left hand nuts, including a LH lock nut

8x right hand nuts, including a RH lock nut

And two unknown… with the broken stud still inside them…

(Also a picture of the back of the “driver side” front hub with an “L” on the back of the studs, previously didn’t think to look there my mistake)

I believe the 7-1/4 and 8-3/4 use the same studs.

BUT...

before you spend the money be sure you can get left hand lug nuts.

No, not quite… I’ve been browsing through eBay at the moment looking for two left hand thread “copper” studs and some more lug nuts

IF I can somehow manage to get the broken studs out of the two nuts…

I’ll have:

8 x left hand nuts
8 x right hand nuts

So I would need to find:

2 x left hand nuts
2 x left hand studs
2 x right hand nuts

And I would be set. Might it be worth while to post a wanted add here on the forum or keep digging through eBay maybe?

Thanks!
