i had plastic race buckets in my car when i got it , it was a factory bench seat car. and now have picked up some 73 duster buckets for the car. the problem I'm having is i have 3 sets of holes drilled ein the floor but none of them line up with the studs in the tracks proper. just wondering how far the holes are from the door sill. if someone had measurements or a picture. thanks

Unless your floors are really messed up, I'd look for the dimples where the factory would have punched holes.

Like they said, look for dimples. A factory bench car won't have the holes for buckets. Also, the factory bucket seat holes would have a small reinforcing plate welded in -- if you just drill the dimples you won't have that. I'm not saying that's a terrible thing -- I got away with it for 20 years using big washers -- just FYI.
