just like the title says, where? It has a 3 speed manual attached to it so I’d like to be able to remove it with ease and be somewhat in balance (maybe slightly tail low is good) without damaging the engine bay.

It’s coming out the top not dropping the k member and it’s a B body.

Any help is appreciated. I need to do this tomorrow AM. Thanks

I always drop the transmission & bell housing first.

What year b-body?

There are 2 3/8 bolt holes on top in the middle (approximately) of the cylinder head. The front one is for with the trans on. The back one is for just without the trans on. You should also look around for information on slantsix.org, lots of good info there too.

I thought the rear bolt gave the trans/motor assembly a balance? front was for engine only? Get yourself a stout bolt on D ring or L bracket.
