The $650 range is about as good as I've seen on public advertisements. Ebay has them at that price from several people. Searching by that part number helps weed out the folks that market them to the race/diesel crowd by labeling them S400/S475 turbos and jack up the price.
I snagged a new, open-box, 171701 a few years ago on ebay for $400.

Mack gave me a good deal thanks Kevin for the help..turbo went out on 1 of my dump trucks stealership wants 2100.00 :banghead: it's a Garrett so talking to some people Borg Warner was mentioned so this is the replacement also gives me a little room to grow

Fyi turboauto on Charlotte Ave Nashville rebuilds turbos. Don't know about trucks.
