When I rebuilt a slant several years back I got the engine kit from Performance Automotive Warehouse. http://www.pawengineparts.com/ They had pretty much everything you would need for a \6

Are you looking for forged or cast? Forged, you will almost certainly have to contact one of the piston manufactures, like Venolia, Ross, etc. Once in a great while a set of NOS TRW, or Sealed Power forged replacement pistons, show up on the web, but expect to pay in the $50 per piston range. Cast pistons show up on E-bay on a regular basis. I have seen the prices range from $19.99 to $89 per set. $20 is a bargain, $90 is too high, up to $50-60 per set is OK. They are still available through normal part sources.

I paid $6 a piston down at the local machine shop. Widely available in many over sizes.
