Where to find: carburetor choke thermostat

64 valiant 273, carter 2bbl carb, w/ a 65 choke pull-off? (so I was told by someone on this forum.)

The choke thermostat is blown, and my local parts stores have it in their system as discontinued.

Anybody know where (online, since I live in Canada) I can find one? Nothing turning up on ebay.

Be careful. Some of them rotate different directions. I know the Thermoquad rotated backwards from a lot of them. I know you're not buyin for a Thermoquad, but you never know. Hate to see you buy sumthin for 60 bucks that wasn't right. Just somethin to look out for.

I put an electric choke kit #1274 from carbsonly.com (call them; the kits aren't on their website) on my '64 Dart (2bbl 273); it bolted right in, hooked right up, and worked perfectly -- was a nice improvement over the bent and hacked original.

(the '64 vs. '65+ choke pull-off does not matter as far as the choke thermostat is concerned)
