Does anyone know of a company that sells either fiberglass or steel cowl hoods for a 71 dart.

Yep, AAR.
My friend has their hinge type on 2 of his 71 Demons. His are Sixpack style but the quality is great. He forgot to put on his hood pins for one dragstrip run and it folded up to the windshield. The back hood corners put 3/4 inch dents in the cowl but only had a small amount of damage to the tips of the hood corners. Tuff product.
