Have any of yall put ignition box inside the car. Also I have a 120 amp alt. which came with the engine off a 350 series van.Will the 120 amp alternator cause problems in my 72 Dart? Seems as though I read that someone melted some wiring with a 100 amp !!

Well, the stock wires were not exactly up to par to begin with, so, ethier upgrade to a thicker wire and a AMP gauge that can handle the output , (Good luck finding one) or reduce the AMP's to the gauge.
You will not have a problem with an ignition box. Surply a decent wire and done right connections and you'll be set.
OH, the best place would be inside the car away from the weather, but still where theres some air to flow around it. Not laying up on insulation and cardboard.

i just mounted my orange box on the passenger inner fender, up near the firewall. it isn't clustered by anything. i could have put it on the drivers so i didnt have to extend the wiring but the washer fluid bottle, and brake booster are right there
