Got tired of my dash lights randomly deciding when they want to work and pulled the cluster this weekend. All 7 sockets have a missing locking tab.

Went to auto zone and o'reilleys and checked napa. About 7 bucks a pop.

Found them on RA for just under 4 buck each. Anybody know anyplace cheaper than that?

The cheapest source is to go to a pull-it-yourself salvage yard and put them in your pocket when you are getting other parts....

The older ones are stronger and more robust than the newer ones.

They are definitely pocket parts if I end up at pick'n'pull anytime soon. haha

And red_cuda, I those are too small. Need the 5/8" ones.

Have you checked the Wal Mart parkin lot?

I have at least 2 dozen OEM sockets here. They aren't worth the cost of shipping. Plastic gets brittle with age, the tiny tangs are under some pressure from electrical contacts. Those sockets you might find in a parts yard that aren't broken aren't going to be any better than those you have. if you don't like to R&R that inst' panel, buy new bulbs and sockets.
