I am ordering a disc brake conversion for my 8 3/4 rear end. from Wilwood.
A155-5's
They want to know if i have the green bearing with the snap ring or without. WTF?????:tongue3:
I pulled my axle and I have a bearing housing that contains a grean bearing and a pressed on collar that holds the assembly.
What do they mean by a snap ring green bearing?
I have seen bearings w the adjusters and my set-up. but snap ring i have not seen?

Thanks for any help

Can you look for numbers on the bearing, or get some pictures?

I'm not familiar with bear ***. Please don't post any pictures of bear ***. Maybe a deer head.

I would post a pic of bear *** but if I got that close he might BITE!

Has anybody seen a green bearing(non adjusters) with a snap ring?I have not but i'm trying to get a pic of a bears *** so what do I no/? LOL

Basically, is the flange with the five bolt holes attached to the bearing, or is it loose, and pushes against a "snap ring" in order to keep the bearing in the housing?

As a footnote, the snap ring version is usually seen as the better bearing. It allows for a bit more movement of the bearing in the housing. Sometimes the flange breaks loose from the "solid" version, which is not a good thing.
