Which does not belong??

This thing had tons of extra holes drilled into it by previous owners. I think there are two big round holes that don't need to be there, but I'm not certain... Can anyone tell me which holes don't belong on a '70 Dart? This is the last thing I need to do before the front clip FINALLY gets some primer. Thank goodness for the dry Arizona air!!

Both of the big holes on the right are supposed to be there? What are they for?

Also the one above the master cylinder hole is a mystery too. I'm pretty sure the one under the wiring harness hole is for the throttle cable. The others, I have no clue.

What I would do is look at it from the inside and try to tell from any burrs that may be there. But as redfish states it does not look like extra holes. I do have a pic but every thing is still in the car and hard to tell. if I get time when i get home i will look. oh my car is a 72, not sure if different or not.

The one on the lower right should be for the parking brake cable...have to think a little more about the top right. Where does your speedo cable go in at? Possibly above the master cyl?

Isnt that where the wiring harness enters the car??? Dont know just a guess

Looks like you're right.

All holes accounted for... One less thing to worry about

Actually the upper right hole is pluged unless you have internal washer foot pump or use it for something else like in that pic. Cheers

Looking at your picture and my '72 Duster, this is what I think:
Top right large hole - windshield washer hose grommet
Lower right - Emergency brake cable

Large hole to the left of the ww grommet - speedo cable gommet
Dimpled hole to the left of this is an insulation plug hole (they are all dimpled)
Below this is the master cylinder hole

To the left, square hole is the wiring plugs
Large hole below that is for the accelerator cable, I think a small hole beside this is for the screw which holds the accl. cable ***'y to the floor.

I thought since I had mine apart and was just starting to reasemble after having the under hood area painted along with alot of other work. Hope this helps, It looks like your and mine are identical, I don't see any extra holes.
