Which motor mounts are stronger?

No one has given a shot yet, I will shoot from the lip...
Stronger, the biscuit. It is a big ole hunk of rubber.
Safer, the spool. When the rubber deteriorates and breaks the engine is still captured by the mount itself. From my limited experience you may not even realize the spool mount is "broken" without a real close inspection.
If I had a choice of two broken biscuit or two broken spool mounts, the spool wins, hands down.

I was always under the impression that the biscuit mounts tear easier vs the spool...
 
spool is safer. i do like the schumacher magnum mount. its a biscuit mount basically with a bolt through it so it wont rip in half.
 
Napa also sells a biscuit mount that is bolted through, HD truck part that I believe will work with most of the V8's, the mount just doesn't know what it is put into. LOL
