Hey All:

I'm looking for a decent oil pan that also won't give me headaches with the TTI Step headers. I'm putting a Magnum 5.9/360 in the car.

TTI says they clear the Milodon pan, but there's at least one guy who says that doesn't work. Really don't want to buy two pans.

Also, anyone know if they make a one piece oil pan gasket for the 360?

Thanks!

Steve

I cant speak about extra capacity pans but I can about the gasket.
Back in January I orderd a 1 piece seal listed for the 360LA from Summit for my 5.9 and a stock 360 pan for a car. When it showed up it was the same as the 5.9 gasket I already had. so sent it back.
For pictures of the difference and why the seals wont swap see post " 5.9 magnum into a 73duster " by Old Geezzer. pics on page 2.
I really wanted the one piece so I cut the notch out of the car pan and welded in a filler to match the 5.9.
It turned out pretty good but I added a little extra sealer in those spots. So far so good -no leaks.
I just looked and couldnt find that 360LA listing at Summit.
good luck

Thanks for the help. I ordered the pan today.

Now hopefully someone will have a deal on some headers at the Monster Mopar Weekend.
