Which pistol grip?

Really, thats what I was hoping to hear, I just bought the 70-74 E-body with console shifter(new reproduction from yearone).....then started seeing that everyone else is using the B body one non console. That would be great if you could post some pics. thanks Tate

Here is a pic of the pistol grip shifter in my 72 Demon. The
shifter feels as good as it looks.

They both work, and I've had both in my dart. I like the B body one better
because I am over 6 foot tall, and have the seats all the way back. The E
body shifter was too long of a throw into 3rd gear for my liking. The B body
shifter is a nice feel for me for what it's worth.

You want a fantastic feel on that handle, get a wood handle kit from gunslinger wow are those nice!

thanks, I was originally planning on going more stock but I did one little custom touch and it just snowballed from there.

I'll have to look into the gunslinger handle kit. Thanks for the info, If it is that bad when I get it in there I can always switch to the B-body one.

71-74 B body one is the one you want.

I have one but just waiting to save up for the hurst shifter mechanism deal.
