which pump

Hey there are these pumps for the small block from Mopar.

P5249558 Aluminum Water Pump—6-Blade
P5249559 Aluminum Water Pump—8-Blade, Increased Flow

Is there much power loss driving the 8 blade? I have a 416 stroked 340 and was thinking I should go with the 8 blade. Is this the best choice, what are others running?

I'd go with the max flow unit. Just to go on the safe side. It's designed to cool an A/C car. I think it would be worth the very small powerloss. Plus the will run a little warmer than a standard motor anyway.
