Hi all,

Already start working on my Valiant and know what I want, only which parts to use. Off-course I used the search option and already found some info.
http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=155910

I'm going to put a 440 stroker (500) inside and want a replacement for the K-member. The car will be mainly used for the road, so I'm looking for a "great" (best possible) handling. At the back we'll use a Dana60.
Besides the suspension and K-member replacement we will reinforce the Chassis.

I really hope you can share your experience or maybe even "vs or build" articles. As this is my first A-body Mopar build I can use all the info I can get!!

Front suspension (replacement of K-member)

I already read that a lot of people favour the Alterktion instead of the Magnum Force. Only I also found an alternative on Norm's Garage. Can't find any useful info on this product.

Magnum Force:

Alterktion:

Norm's:

Unfortunately I don't have a glue on which would be better: Norm's or Magnum Force??? Please help out if you have any experience or advice!

Back suspension

Well same here found a lot of things from Norm's again and also from RMS Street Lynx and XV Motorsport. We'll use a Dana60 at the back and can't choose this option at all products.

Norm's:

XV Motorsport (can't use the option for a Dana60 when ordering!!):

RMS Street Lynx:

Well same here, what would be the better option.

Please help and thx in advance from the Netherlands! :prayer:

Go with the RMS setup for both front and rear! It's top notch. Talk with Abodyjoe, he has both the front and rear setup and loves it.

that norms stuff is a copy of the RMS stuff only in round tube. norms used to use control freaks set up which is a bootleg copy of the alter-k in round tube. that kit in the link you posted looks slightly different then the control freak but is still basically a round tube alter-k. could just be a update by control freak. don't know. go with the original and proven one. ther RMS set up.

i don't know anyone that has used the XV set up. there was a guy on cuda/challenger i think it was that was having all kinds of trouble installing a xv suspension. not sure how that ever came out.

Hi guys,

Thank you for the reply, think I'll go ahead with RMS!!

Off-course any additional info is more then welcome!

&*^#,... just found out that there isn't enough room to fit exhaust pipes using a Dana60 combined with the RMS Street Lynx!!

Any ideas???
