Hi everybody, i am building a mostly strip but some street car and have come to the 8 3/4 differential and am wondering which sure grip/locker should i go to? The car is a 72 duster, the motor is going to be a 383 stroker that should be around 550hp and i will be launching at 3000-3500 rpm w/ slicks. Should i use a power lok? Detroit locker? Auburn? Powertrax? the differential is a 489 case with 4.10's. I dont care if it makes noise or anything i just want it to hold up when i need it to but still be able to drive on the street, which is why i am not going for a spool either.

Thanks for your help

Locker for sure, great for street strip,is what I run in my dart, little pricey but you get what you pay for, but a mopar sure grip or limited slip would also do the job nicely.....
