Which voltage regulator would you recommend? I have one that is working just fine but it has leaked goop down the side of the inner fender bad and would like to clean it up. Saw the performance one on mancini but would like to buy one that i am not going to have problems with especially since the one that is on the car is working fine.

I have some good NORS ones if needed for 25 and the ride and also bench tested with a proper tester.

Eventually they all drip dry. I will assume yours is the two eared unit and not the black box (mechanical point style)since you said it melted down the fender.
Halifax hops always seems to have the best products and I have purchased stuff from before with zero issues. I’d take his stuff over the parts store made in Chy-na any day.

I have delt with Halifaxhops as well I will certainly be dealing with him in the future i am sure. I am going to the Mopar Nationals this week end but may hit him up if i dont find what i want there. If i can find them there would save me on shipping.

Steve has to be electronic two pin the only ones that are potted and ooze.

Assuming it's not malfunctioning you can clean it up and run it. All that will happen is the electronics will get corrosion from the backside and at some time in the future fail.

You could clean it with electrical contact cleaner and fill it with epoxy potting. You'll want something especially made for electrical potting as normal glue is usually too thick.

If it's still working fine, I'd continue to use it. As mentioned, repot it to help prevent future ooze. It wouldn't hurt to keep a good quality replacement for future use while they're still available.
